POP — Best for Designer Looks

Plaster of Paris is a wet mix applied on-site, so it can be shaped into any curve, cove or multi-level design with no visible joints. It's fire-resistant and suits living rooms, bedrooms and premium halls. Downside: installation is slower and needs proper drying time — and it must stay dry. Starts at ₹95/sq.ft.

Gypsum Board — Best for Speed & Flat Areas

Gypsum boards are pre-made panels fixed on metal framing — much faster than POP, perfectly flat, and easy to paint. Moisture-resistant and fire-rated variants exist for special needs. Best for offices, large flat ceilings and quick renovations. See our gypsum board installation.

PVC — Best for Wet Areas

PVC panels are waterproof, lightweight and the cheapest to maintain — ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and utility areas where moisture is a concern. The trade-off: limited designs, visible joints and poor fire resistance. We supply genuine PVC ceiling panels across Mumbai.

Our Recommendation

  • Living rooms & bedrooms: POP for seamless designer looks.
  • Offices & large flat areas: Gypsum board for speed and finish.
  • Kitchens, bathrooms, utility: PVC for waterproof peace of mind.
